Sunny Porter PuzzlesLarge-print nostalgia word searches for seniors

About Sunny Porter

Sunny Porter is the pen name behind these large-print word search books. Every puzzle is full of words from the good old days, and every one is printed big enough to read comfortably.

Why large print?

Puzzles should be comfortable to read. So every grid uses 22pt letters in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface created by the Braille Institute of America for easier reading. There's one puzzle per page and plenty of white space, with the answers in the back.

Why nostalgia?

A word search is more fun when the words mean something. Finding "Sock Hop", "Moon Landing" or "Disco" often brings a story with it, and sharing that story is half the fun.

The books

Nostalgia Large-Print Word Search for Seniors comes in three volumes, with 100 puzzles each:

More about them on The Books page. And there's a free printable puzzle for each decade if you'd like to try one first.
